Job Summary
Provide in-home physical therapy to patients with mobility limitations. Evaluate and treat patients suffering from physical disability or limited mobility due to injury, disease, or surgery in a home care environment. Establish and administer a treatment plan using exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and equipment to manage pain and increase mobility. Educate patients and family members in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living. Collaborate with other providers servicing the client to achieve optimal outcomes. Requires current unrestricted PT licensure, CPR/BLS/First Aid, reliable transportation, and at least 1 year of PT experience in home health or a similar setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of practice
- Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation to care sites/work locations
- One (1) year of professional PT experience in home health or similar setting
