Job Summary
Physical Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation at Rust Medical Center. The role focuses on evaluation and treatment of pediatric through adult patients using a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, discharge planning, and promoting patient/self-determination. Responsibilities include interpreting data, documenting in EPIC, overseeing a comprehensive rehab program, and ensuring quality care across life span with emphasis on growth and development. Pediatric coverage includes infants to 18 years, with potential float to adult units during census fluctuations. Requires basic computer skills, knowledge of regulatory settings, and active collaboration with Physical Therapy Assistants and other services. Compensation range posted as minimum $37.29 and maximum $56.92 per hour (annualized for comparison). This is a PRN position with days shift and 0.00 FTE, non-exempt. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Preferred
- NM License of Physical Therapy required
- BLS required at time of hire
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy
