Job Summary
Physical Therapist in inpatient rehabilitation setting. Provides hands-on physical therapy, patient education, and movement-based interventions to patients across pediatric to adult populations (birth to 18 years in pediatrics, with float to adult units as needed). Works as part of an interdisciplinary team to evaluate and treat patients, develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans addressing physical and psychosocial well-being, promote independence, and coordinate discharge goals. Responsibilities include data interpretation, documentation (EPIC), collaboration with care teams, and advocating for patients. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred), NM PT license, and BLS; new graduates encouraged to apply. Settings include inpatient and inpatient ED, PRN schedule, with potential for night/weekend differentials and opportunities for tuition/certification reimbursement.
