Job Summary
Physical Therapist for inpatient rehabilitation at Rust Medical Center. Responsible for evaluating and treating patients across pediatric to adult ages using a wide variety of therapeutic interventions to improve physical function and developmental outcomes. Collaborates with Physical Therapy Assistants to design and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs, coordinates discharge goals, and communicates with interdisciplinary teams. Emphasizes growth and development considerations, patient/caregiver self-determination, and optimized use of outside resources. Role involves patient education, documentation in EPIC, and potential float to other units as needed; includes specialty pediatric care from birth to 18 years when applicable. Includes participation in safety, eligibility for tuition/certification reimbursement, and opportunities for lead roles as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred
- NM License of Physical Therapy required
- BLS required at time of hire
