Job Summary
Physical Therapist in inpatient rehabilitation at Rust Medical Center (PRN, non-full-time). Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across the lifespan with a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, overseeing a comprehensive rehabilitation program, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and promoting patient self-determination. Pediatric coverage is included, with evaluation and treatment of infants to adolescents, potential float to adult units as needed. Requires knowledge of growth and development principles, basic computer skills, and familiarity with EPIC charting; collaboration with Physical Therapy Assistants and discharge planning goals. Educational opportunities available (tuition/certification reimbursement) and credentialing (NM license, BLS).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred
- NM License of Physical Therapy required
- BLS required at time of hire
