Job Summary
Physical Therapist in inpatient rehabilitation providing hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Collaborates with Physical Therapy Assistants to treat pediatric and adult patients, evaluates and treats a wide range of conditions, and develops comprehensive rehabilitation programs to optimize independence and discharge goals. Responsibilities include coordinating with multiple disciplines, advocating for patients, utilizing outcomes data to guide care, and supporting growth through education, certification opportunities, and EPIC charting. Requires knowledge of growth and development, safety considerations, and maintaining regulatory compliance; expects utilization of a broad set of therapeutic interventions and a patient-centered approach to improve quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Preferred.
- NM License of Physical Therapy required.
- BLS required at time of hire.
