Job Summary
Provide inpatient rehabilitation physical therapy as a movement expert, delivering hands-on care, patient education, and prescribed movement. Collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants to treat pediatric through adult patients, evaluate and treat a wide range of conditions, and coordinate care and discharge goals across disciplines. Responsibilities include interpreting data, applying diverse therapeutic interventions, promoting patient self-determination, and supporting comprehensive rehabilitation plans to optimize independence. Pediatric coverage includes infants to adolescents, with potential float to adult units as census fluctuates. Requires knowledge of growth and development principles, EPIC charting, and adherence to regulatory rules; Bachelor's degree and NM PT license with BLS required. The role supports tuition/certification reimbursement options, safety programs, and various lead roles for eligible positions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
