Job Summary
Inpatient Physical Therapist providing pediatric and general rehabilitation services. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a variety of therapeutic interventions, coordinating with Physical Therapy Assistants, overseeing a comprehensive rehab program, optimizing resource use for patient independence, and coordinating discharge goals. Must address motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, gait, and other developmental concerns across ages, with pediatric coverage including birth to 18 years and potential float to adult units. Requires detailed knowledge of PT practice, data interpretation, and adherence to setting-specific rules; strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and patient advocacy. Bachelor’s degree required; NM PT licensure and BLS required; Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred. Required Qualifications
