Job Summary
Physical Therapist - Inpatient role focusing on hands-on care, movement-based rehabilitation, and patient education within inpatient rehabilitation settings. Collaborates with Physical Therapy Assistants to treat patients across the lifespan, from birth to adulthood, including pediatric patients. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients using a broad range of therapeutic interventions, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, advancing discharge planning, and promoting patient/caregiver self-determination. Role supports growth through tuition/certification reimbursement, sign-on and relocation benefits, and opportunities for lead or advanced roles. Competitive weekend schedule and EPIC charting system used for documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- New Mexico Physical Therapy License required or New Mexico Physical Therapy provisional/temporary license accepted
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Preferred
- BLS required at time of hire
