Job Summary
Physical Therapist in inpatient rehabilitation working with Physical Therapy Assistants to evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities include applying a broad range of therapeutic interventions, guiding growth and development, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting discharge goals. Emphasis on patient education, independent function, outside resource utilization, and ensuring safety. Locations include inpatient settings with weekend rotation (Fri-Sun). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- New Mexico Physical Therapy License required or New Mexico Physical Therapy provisional/temporary license accepted
- Less than one year of experience in physical therapy
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Doctor of Physical Therapy Preferred
- BLS required at time of hire
