Job Summary
Physical Therapist, inpatient role at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Full-time day shift. Responsibilities include direct patient care, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventions to maximize functional outcomes, and documentation within professional and facility policies. Works within a multidisciplinary team with patients diagnosed with CVA, SCI, LE amputation, orthopedics, and cardiopulmonary conditions; performs comprehensive treatment planning and disposition recommendations. Requires graduation from an approved PT program (BS, MS, or DPT) and a current NY license; 1 year of PT experience preferred. Pay range $43.73-$56.58/hour with competitive benefits and opportunities for mentorship and clinical specialization; PSLF-qualifying not-for-profit employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s degree or Clinical Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree
- Current NYS Physical Therapy license and registration
