Job Summary
Evaluate patients, develop individual treatment programs, and implement activities for physical disabilities, disorders, and injuries. Formulate treatment plans in coordination with physicians' prescriptions and provide documentation including two-week progress reports, monthly summaries, and discharge summaries. Administer medications safely in accordance with policy. Perform patient and family teaching of home exercise programs. Assist in clinically supervising physical therapist assistants and certified athletic trainers, while participating in staff meetings, department committees, and continuing education. Work in an inpatient setting with weekend program differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in: Physical Therapy
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Wisconsin
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak and comprehend the English language
