Job Summary
Assess and treat cardiac, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, pulmonary, and medical-surgical patients as part of a multidisciplinary team. Educate patients and family members on care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to develop individualized plans of care and facilitate transition planning. Requires a B.S. or M.S. in Physical Therapy (DPT preferred), NYS license, and BLS certification within 60 days. 1-2 years of experience preferred. St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center® is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center, recognized nationally for Cardiology, Heart Surgery, and other specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
- NYS Physical Therapist license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS required within 60 days of hire
