Physical Therapist - Inpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

Physical Therapy Clinician provides direct PT evaluations and treatments for inpatient adults, including evaluation/re-evaluation, goal setting, discharge planning, patient/family education, and progression of treatment plans. Responsibilities include documentation in PM&R standards, collaboration with physicians, patients, families, and the care team, participation in meetings and rounds, supervision of PTAs and rehabilitation technicians, scheduling coordination, involvement in program development, and continuing education (minimum 10 contact hours/year with at least one in-service). Qualifications require a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, DC license or eligibility for reciprocity, and BLS certification.
