Job Summary
Physical Therapist needed to deliver superior outpatient rehabilitation in a collaborative care model with IBJI physicians. The role emphasizes evaluating initial patient status, developing and updating treatment plans and functional goals, documenting patient progress, discharge planning, and coordinating with rehabilitation technicians and office staff. The position offers a strong base salary with bonuses, sign-on, profit sharing, continuing education support, mentoring, and opportunities to participate in orthopedic residency programs, specialty groups, and leadership development. Responsibilities include interpreting physician orders, updating goals during episodes of care, compliant charting, maintaining licenses and CEUs, and fostering relationships with physician teams and case managers within IBJI’s integrated care network.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Licensed or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Illinois
- Ability to perform initial evaluations and establish treatment plans and functional goals
- Ability to lift greater than 25 pounds
- Ability to stand and sit for sequences of time greater than 30 minutes
- Professional and effective writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrates good understanding of proper body mechanics for lifting, pulling, pushing
- Ability to use computer for lengthy periods
