Job Summary
Administer basic and complex diagnostic tests and evaluations for mobility disorders. Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students, clinical fellows, and residents. Analyze diagnostic results to establish patient goals and modify treatment programs. Select advanced techniques to provide quality rehabilitative services and prioritize care based on patient needs. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain valid records of patient procedures. Serve as a resource to government departments and present at local or state-level health events. This role supports the NGH Therapy Services unit within Nash UNC Health Care, which serves diverse communities across Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, and Wilson Counties. The position requires a current North Carolina license, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and four years of post-internship experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina
- Successful completion of supervised clinical internship
- 4 years of experience
