Evaluates and develops therapy plans of care for a broad range of diagnoses and acuities; may specialize in care for complex patient types through advanced training; provides education to patients, families, and caregivers; collaborates with an interprofessional care team; serves as preceptor/mentor and clinical resource; contributes to quality metrics and process improvement initiatives; supports performance improvement and education within a hospital and academic-affiliate setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an education program approved by credentialing body for required credentials
- Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist; or completion of HM or comparable Physical Therapy Residency program
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA)
- Texas State Licensure - Physical Therapist
- Compact license acceptable according to ECPTOTE requirements within 90 days
