Job Summary
Physical Therapist II-Health in an outpatient therapy clinic in North Charleston evaluates and treats patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments. Establishes treatment plans and uses exercises, stretching, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease pain and aid recovery. Works cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters; documents patient progress; may supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, and athletic trainers.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- greater than one year experience as a physical therapist
- licensure as a Physical Therapist by the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification
