Job Summary
The Physical Therapist II conducts comprehensive assessments of inpatients with physical and functional deficits, planning and implementing physical therapy treatments to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent permanent disability. Responsibilities include performing evaluations and treatments, setting goals, educating patients and caregivers, and collaborating with the healthcare team for optimal patient care outcomes. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a current Massachusetts license are required, along with at least two years of experience, including one year in acute care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s/Doctorate or equivalent in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a licensed PT including 1 year in acute care
Desired Qualifications
- ICU experience preferred
- APTA and MCAPTA membership preferred
Additional Requirements
- Current Commonwealth of Massachusetts license
- Current CPR certification
