Job Summary
Administer patient evaluations and treatments using physical therapy modalities, procedures, and interventions. Schedule patients and maintain communication regarding patient and departmental concerns while submitting accurate billing information. Participate in rotations across all clinical areas, engage in teaching including annual in-service sessions for peers, and serve as a clinical instructor for students. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and contribute to department quality improvement activities. Maintain sanitary and housekeeping policies to ensure clinic readiness. Requires a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Board Certification in Physical Rehabilitation, and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree of Physical Therapy
- Master's Degree of Physical Therapy
- Doctorate Degree of Physical Therapy
- Acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BCPR - Board Certification Physical Rehabilitation
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- Access to information considered sensitive to Albany Medical Center, its patients, affiliates, and partners, including but not limited to HIPAA Protected Health Information
- Successfully complete all applicable federal, State and institutionally mandated pre-employment screening requirements including: Relevant Background Check(s)
- Drug Screen
- PPD / Tuberculosis Test
- Reference Check
- Applicable vaccinations
