Job Summary
Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases, to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team; evaluates, develops, and revises treatment programs; administers manual exercises and physical agents; educates patients and families; monitors progress and documents results; supervises assistants and students; may plan lectures/trainings for staff; maintains safe environment and adheres to regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- MS or Doctoral degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy or BS with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Current Texas Physical Therapy license
- CPR Certification
