Job Summary
Provide client care through focused assessment, treatment, and discharge planning on rehabilitation and recovery units. Assess appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence for adults with neurological injuries, such as stroke, requiring recuperation before returning to the community. Provide clinical supervision to support staff and students. Deliver quality care and safety to residents and clients while adhering to privacy legislation and best practices including HIA, ATIA, and InfoCare Behaviours. Submit a police records check and vulnerable sector screen if not currently employed by Carewest. This temporary full-time role ends October 21, 2026, with a rate of pay between $42.51 and $56.60.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy
- Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta
Desired Qualifications
- AADL authorizer
- Experience using physiotherapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting
