Job Summary
Conduct home visits to adult and geriatric clients in Howard County, Maryland, performing diagnostic tests for mobility, strength, balance, and safety assessments. Implement individualized care plans featuring manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and integumentary protective interventions to prevent and repair wounds. Continually assess and revise care plans while collaborating with nursing staff, and educate clients and family members on rehabilitative activities. Accurately document all observations and interventions using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current Maryland Physical Therapist license, graduation from an accredited program, and strong computer skills with EMR experience. Full-time, part-time, or per diem availability between 8:30a-5p Monday-Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A current Maryland Physical Therapist - PT license
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Must be available to see patients on a full-time, part-time or per diem basis between the hours of 8:30a-5p Monday-Friday
Desired Qualifications
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
