Job Summary
Conduct home health visits to adult and geriatric clients in Anne Arundel County, performing diagnostic tests for mobility, strength, balance, and safety. Implement integumentary protective interventions and develop individualized care plans including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions. Continually assess and revise care plans while collaborating with nursing on multidisciplinary care management. Educate clients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities to promote independent living. Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch pad tablet. Requires a current MD Physical Therapist license, one year of recent work experience, and graduation from an accredited program. Base pay ranges from $57.00 to $73.00 per point with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- One year prior clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
- A current MD Physical Therapist - PT license
- A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist - PT
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
