Job Summary
Physical Therapist in Home Health at Sutter Health (SCAH-Sutter Care at Home) focused on assessing, planning, organizing, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patient mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength. Leads development of workflows and clinical protocols, serves as a resource for education, training, and mentoring of staff and assigned students, and ensures privacy and safety in delivering patient care. Requires graduate PT education, licensure, BLS, and a minimum of about 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include teaching, developing training materials and competency assessments, collaborating with stakeholders, applying evidence-based practice, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Schedule: Days, Full Time, Monday–Friday with some weekends as needed; Location: Yuba City, CA; Equal opportunity employer. Pay range: $67.43–$84.29/hour with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy school
- PT-Physical Therapist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or Class D
- 5 years of recent relevant experience
- Ability to develop treatment protocols
- Ability to teach/educate others and mentor staff
- Ability to extract evidence-based practice information and apply to clinical practice
- Ability to coordinate staff education and student programs
- Knowledge of professional practice and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated communication and teamwork skills
