Job Summary
The Physical Therapist in Home Health evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and documents care. Responsibilities include delivering care, supervising support staff, and coordinating workflow in the therapy department during absences. Candidates must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice, have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, possess auto liability insurance, a clean driving record, and pass background checks. Certification in AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers is required within 90 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice
- 2 years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist
- Satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination
- Auto liability insurance
- Clean driving record
- Current driver's license
- Registration with Family Care Safety Registry
- Ability to pass KDADS criminal record check
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 90 days
