Job Summary

Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for patients of all ages in home health settings across the Denver metro area. Evaluate patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercises, and preventative care while maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards. Utilize durable medical equipment as needed and provide training to clients. Ensure patient safety and comfort during sessions, addressing psychosocial needs effectively. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, current state licensure, and at least one year of experience in acute or rehabilitation settings. Full-time, part-time, or PRN roles available with flexible schedules, local travel, and competitive compensation including medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program
  • Current State License or a multi-state license issued by a state member of the Physical Therapist Licensure Compact (PTLC) if practicing in a state member of the PTLC, or meets one of the requirements listed in 42 CFR §484.115(h)
  • At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care, rehabilitation setting, or home health
  • Proficiency in therapy skills as defined by accepted standards of practice
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of durable medical equipment
  • Reliable transportation
  • A current Driver's License
  • Valid and current auto liability insurance
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to address patient/client and family psychosocial needs effectively
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
