Job Summary
Administer physical therapy evaluations, develop Plans of Care, and provide treatments, procedures, and diagnostic tests for clients in their homes under physician direction. Translate exercises into functional activities, instruct on assistive device usage, and modify equipment or home environments as needed. Prepare clinical progress notes, report client responses to the physician and Branch Manager, and supervise PTAs, HHAs, LPNs, and RNs during therapy programs. Educate families on home therapy programs, participate in case conferences, and maintain absolute confidentiality of client information. Ensure a safe client environment by identifying and reporting suspected abuse or neglect. This part-time, 20-hour per week position offers an opportunity to grow into full-time, with weekly pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts
- License must not have been revoked, suspended, and without limitations or restrictions
- At least two (2) years experience in a health care setting
- Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation in order to travel to multiple company business stops a day
- A valid driver's license
- Proof of car insurance when using a personal vehicle for company business
- Proof of negative PPD or documentation of negative chest x-ray
- Pass initial and ongoing background studies and screenings including but not limited to those of the Massachusetts Department of Health and the Federal Office of the Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals and Entities
