Job Summary
Provide Physical Therapist (PT) services in a home health setting. Evaluate and treat patients with physical disability or reduced mobility due to injury, disease, or surgery, and establish a treatment plan using exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and equipment to improve mobility and reduce pain. Educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independent living. Collaborate with other providers servicing the client to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Includes 1:1 patient care, full-time or part-time options, and company car; requires current PT license, CPR/BLS/First Aid, and one year of home-health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state associated with this position.
- Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
- Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work locations.
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Physical Therapist (PT) in a home health or similar setting.
