Job Summary
Plan and administer prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients with injuries, illnesses, and functional disabilities to attain the highest level of physical function. Test patient strengths, develop conditioning and rehabilitation programs consistent with physician plans, and adjust treatments to achieve maximum results. Confer with clinical teams to revise therapy programs, supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides, and ensure accurate documentation of care observations, interventions, and physician orders. Report patient progress to physicians and management while submitting evaluation plans and discharge summaries. Requires an accredited Physical Therapy degree, current license, and one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program (approved by the APTA)
- Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year physical therapy experience preferred
