Job Summary
Physical Therapist – Home Care position in the Baltimore area focusing on in-home evaluation and treatment under agency standards and state/federal regulations. Responsibilities include evaluating patients and families, documenting progress toward goals, updating plan of care, establishing and communicating teaching plans, coordinating with the health team, scheduling visits, maintaining clinical records, and participating in case conferences. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, 1-2 years of clinical experience, active PT license in DC/MD/VA (or applicable state), valid driver’s license, and CPR/BLS/NRP certification within 90 days. Proficient in goniometry, muscle strength and sensory testing, therapeutic exercise, gait and mobility training, and home-modification considerations; strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- PT - Physical Therapist License to practice Physical Therapy in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia
- DL - Valid State Driver's License
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers
