Job Summary
Evaluate patients and families, conduct specialized assessments including goniometry and muscle strength testing, and implement physical therapy treatment plans for routine to complex home care cases. Document interventions, progress toward goals, and plan of care revisions while establishing teaching plans and visit schedules. Perform therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and modalities such as heat/cold application and ultrasound. Organize patient assignments, maintain clinical records with 95% accuracy, and initiate case conferences to revise care plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a valid PT license in Maryland, DC, or Virginia, and a driver's license. Salary ranges from $74,214 to $134,596 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
- 1-2 years Clinical experience
- PT - Physical Therapist License to practice Physical Therapy in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia or any combination based on work location(s) Upon Hire
- DL - Valid State Driver's License in good standing with a dependable vehicle for transportation Upon Hire
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
