Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations, administer tests and measures, and synthesize results to formulate diagnoses, goals, and plans of care for patient caseloads. Execute treatment plans through musculoskeletal interventions including therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization, and modalities while providing education on ADLs, transfers, and equipment use. Collect and record patient care data in the Prompt EMR, manage daily billing, and oversee support staff such as PTAs and aides. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to modify care plans, initiate discharges, and refer patients as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and operate within a high-energy environment focused on healing and functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree
- Doctorate degree preferred
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in
- Completed state regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ)
- Valid CPR License
- Excellent oral, written communication
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
- Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Maintains a positive, professional demeanor at all times
- 1 - 2 years: Physical Therapist
- Bachelors or better in Physical Therapy
- Masters or better in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate or better in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
