Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments while conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations. Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments to enhance recovery, educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises, and monitor progress to adjust plans as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. This role supports a mission-driven team at one of the oldest non-profit rehabilitation organizations in rural Wyoming, offering diverse patient populations and pathways for growth through continuing education and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
- Experience with pediatrics or geriatrics is beneficial
