Job Summary
Physical Therapist sought for North Kansas City outpatient orthopedic clinic. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating care plans, providing treatment for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, strengthening, stretching, balance, and functional movement training; educating patients on home programs and safe recovery; tracking progress and adjusting plans; documenting in WebPT; coordinating with PTAs and clinic team. Schedule options include four 10-hour days (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri with Tue off) or Mon–Fri with varied hours. Patient load typically 7–15 per day and 160–190 visits weekly; ages 11–90. Requirements: Doctor of Physical Therapy, active Missouri license or eligibility, outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; strong communication and documentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- New graduates welcome
