Job Summary
Provide physical therapy under physician orders and supervise PT Assistants and Aides. Treat patients across all ages from pediatric to geriatric while adhering to regulations, QA procedures, and quality care standards. Complete required department training and maintain Basic Life Support certification. Licensed by the Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Join OakBend Medical Center, an independent hospital offering a No Wait ER, advanced trauma center, stroke program, and hospital-based skilled nursing facility since 1950.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic Life Support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
