Job Summary
A Registered Physical Therapist (PT) delivers physician-prescribed physical therapy in patients' homes, supports patient care planning with home care personnel, performs evaluations, and assists in developing care plans. The role entails adhering to established policies, supervising necessary personnel, conducting initial assessments, utilizing ICD-10 codes, and participating in quality improvement activities. The position candidates must be licensed physical therapists, with a preference for those possessing two years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Physical Therapy Association.
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing.
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years’ experience, preferred
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
