Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Provide expert consultations to healthcare providers regarding patient needs and progress, while documenting evaluations and treatment plans meticulously to ensure regulatory compliance. Implement treatment plans focusing on patient education, functionality optimization, and pain management, and communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary team to provide updated status reports. Engage in community outreach initiatives, quality improvement activities, and professional development workshops. Supervise support staff to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and organizational expectations.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Must hold a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice professionally in Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and word processing software
