Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing assessment and therapeutic services including diagnostic, palliative, preventive, and rehabilitative services for assigned individuals. Key responsibilities involve documenting clinical records, consulting on treatment outcomes, supervising physical therapist assistants, and adhering to community standards and applicable regulations. Candidates are expected to have a Masters degree and current NY State licensure, as well as basic computer skills. Experience with developmental disabilities is preferred but new graduates are welcome.
Required Qualifications
- NY State licensure in physical therapy
- Valid NYS driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
Additional Requirements
- One-year full-time treatment experience with persons having developmental disabilities preferred but not required
