Job Summary
Provide physical therapy in an outpatient non-profit retirement/life community serving independent living and assisted living residents, with occasional float to skilled care. Treat residents to improve mobility and well-being, support activity and prevention across inpatient/outpatient settings, with opportunities for in-home campus visits and potential cross-continuum care. On-site training and mentorship are provided; new graduates are eligible. Compensation notes indicate full-time salary range varies by experience and skill, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus is available. Relocation may be considered. Eligibility includes licensure in Florida and BLS requirements; the role emphasizes clinically driven, patient-centered care and collaboration with residents across care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA
- Active Florida physical therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Comfort working with older adult populations in outpatient independent living and assisted living; flexibility to float to skilled nursing when needed
- Open to new graduates. Demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and ability to build rapport with residents
