Job Summary
Provide and document initial exams for incoming patients to identify problems and determine diagnosis; identify and document goals and reevaluation plans; test and measure strength, motor development, function, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory/circulatory efficiency; plan and carry out individually designed physical treatment programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning; instruct patients and families in home treatment procedures; participate in staff and facility meetings and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapy degree and license in the state of Florida
- CPR certification
- strong listening, speaking, critical thinking, and reading comprehension skills
- be socially perceptive
- strong time-management skills
- computer literacy
