Physical Therapist - Full-time Outpatient Adult at MedStar GeorgetownUniversityHospital

Conduct direct physical therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for adult patients, including setting goals, making discharge recommendations, and implementing therapeutic interventions. Provide patient and family education while utilizing appropriate documentation forms to adhere to PM&R standards. Collaborate with physicians, patients, and other healthcare team members relative to treatment progress, and actively participate in meetings, in-services, and rounds. Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians, coordinate personal schedules, and contribute to program development and staff in-service training. Maintain professional competency through continuing education programs and comply with Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations.
