Physical Therapist - Full-time Outpatient Adult at MedStar Georgetown UniversityHospital

Conduct direct physical therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for adult patients, including setting goals, implementing therapeutic interventions, and providing patient and family education. Manage documentation in accordance with PM&R standards and collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress. Supervise physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation technicians while coordinating schedules to meet patient treatment demands. Participate in clinical meetings, in-services, and rounds, and contribute to program development as assigned by the Clinical Leader. Maintain professional competency through at least 10 annual contact hours of continuing education and provide yearly in-service training to staff or the community.
