Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Directly supervise patients and provide indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Work days and evenings across Monday through Friday, including shifts from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and perform repetitive physical movements. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings
- Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
