Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and manage indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Execute duties consistent with Mercy's mission and service standards across Ortho/Sports services. Shifts include days and evenings from Monday through Friday, with specific hours varying by day. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, and perform physical movements. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- The ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings shift availability (Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm)
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
