Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership supervision. Provide direct patient care while overseeing rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Conduct daily diagnostic imaging coverage including orthopedic and sports therapy duties across days and evenings shifts. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and experience with adult/geriatric populations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings shift availability (Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm)
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- General supervision of PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
