Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision. Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Manage care delivery consistent with Mercy mission, values, and service standards. Requires current or temporary Physical Therapy license, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs with prolonged standing. Schedule includes days and evenings across Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings
- Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
