Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under general supervision of Therapy Leadership. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy mission, values, and service standards. Schedule includes days and evenings: Mon/Wed 8:30 am-6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am-5:00 pm, and Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs regularly with prolonged standing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- The ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings shift availability (Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm)
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
