Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision to rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards while managing shifts across days and evenings in St. Peters. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and experience with adult/geriatric populations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- The ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- The ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings shift availability (Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm)
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Prefer experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
