Job Summary
Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients under Therapy Leadership supervision. Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, while overseeing PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts. Deliver care consistent with Mercy Service Standards across days and evenings shifts in Saint Peters. Requires current Physical Therapy licensure, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs with prolonged standing. Join a collaborative team committed to innovation and compassion in healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in the state of practice
- BLS certified
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Days and Evenings shift availability (Mon/Wed 8:30 am- 6:00 pm, Tues/Thurs 7:30 am- 5:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:00 pm)
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of experience is preferred for a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist
- Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients
